The Motor Industry Fund Administrators (Pty) Ltd is a registered retirement fund administrator in terms of Section 13B of the Pension Funds Act, with decades of industry experience and a proven track record of performance and integrity. MIFA administers all of the Motor Industry Retirement Funds (MIRF).
Who We Are
MIFA is duly registered as a retirement fund administrator under Section 13B of the Pension Funds Act.
As the appointed administrator for the Motor Industry Retirement Funds (MIRF), MIFA oversees five key funds: the Auto Workers’ Provident Fund, the Motor Industry Provident Fund, the Copartes Pension Fund, the Motor Industry Pension Fund (2005), and the Motor Industry Beneficiary Fund.
Our roles and responsibilities are comprehensive and include:
- Processing all benefit payments, encompassing withdrawal claims, death claims, ill-health benefits, retrenchment claims, and more.
- Distributing monthly pensions and beneficiary payments.
- Conducting general fund administration and responding to member inquiries regarding benefit statements and claims.
Our primary goal is to alleviate the financial concerns associated with retirement planning for over 298,000 MIRF members. We achieve this by entrusting fund management to our team of handpicked industry experts and financial specialists who are committed to delivering exemplary administration services.
