The Motor Industry Fund Administrators (Pty) Ltd is a registered retirement fund administrator in terms of Section 13B of the Pension Funds Act, with decades of industry experience and a proven track record of performance and integrity. MIFA administers all of the Motor Industry Retirement Funds (MIRF).

MIFA herewith invites proposals from an interested and suitably qualified lead in the development of MIFA ICT Strategy and ICT Architecture to enable ICT to support MIFA’s five (5) year strategic plans.
Who We Are
MIFA is registered as a retirement fund administrator in terms of Section 13B of the Pension Funds Act.
MIFA is the administrator for MIRF and their five retirement funds which are the Auto Workers’ Provident Fund, the Motor Industry Provident Fund, the Copartes Pension Fund, the Motor Industry Pension Fund (2005) and the Motor Industry Beneficiary Fund. MIFA performs the following roles and responsibilities amongst others.
- Payment of all benefits which include withdrawal claims; death claims; ill health benefits; retrenchment claims and more
- Payment of monthly pensions
- Payment of monthly beneficiary distributions
- Performs general administration of the funds
- Assisting members on benefit statements; claim related enquiries
Our overriding aim is to lift the burden of financial worries over retirement funding from the shoulders of the 298 000 MIRF members, transferring this responsibility to our handpicked industry experts and financial specialists.
